'Chayatsuji Kimono | Yukata Series | How to wear Yukata as Kimono Yukata as kimono, which is totally a thing for those who don\'t either like the look of a regular yukata and prefer to wear a juban or if it is a bit more chilly so you basically won\'t freeze in a cotton kimono ^^ Usually one would use a RO or other summer fabric juban underneath. This one already had the erishin inside so I used it instead :) Also when you wear a juban underneath your yukata you want to wear a nagoya obi instead of a hanhaba obi like you would with \'just\' the yukata because technically you are pushing the formality up to regular casual kimono level.
